This is the second time I’ve been here. Compared to the first visit, the meal was underwhelming. The portion was definitely smaller and of lower quality than before. The prices are fairly steep for the food. The avocado toast was a single piece of sourdough bread with noticeably less toppings compared to before, and still cost $17. Separately, last time I was told the hashbrowns did not contain dairy, and this time they did. Either the recipe has changed, or I’ve been lied to. The coffee and cocktails were on a higher level than the food. I would consider going back for drinks, though I doubt I’ll visit without eating first.

It didn't used to take reservations and now you can easily reserve on Rest; it seems like you can reserve high tops for 2 people and booths for 4 people parties. Inside it's not big but it has a variety of seating options: the bar is pretty big to be a place that's open from 8am to 3pm but you can eat at the bar so that's not a problem, across from the bar there is a long high top counter with stools, then there are regular tables, more High tops for 2 people, and very cute booths. The atmosphere is a mix between natural materials and neon signs and a very fun disco ball in the center. The environment is very well thought and appealing. You used to order an order window but now there is full service and the window is now a dj station and the music was entertaining and fun. We ordered a breakfast bowl and a salmon toast, they looked and tasted great. I got the salmon toast so I can say that it was like nothing I've ever eaten: it was fresh and the cucumber completely erased the aftertaste of the salmon that can be off-putting for whoever eats it and the others. The whipped ricotta toast is phenomenal, so much flavor and the presentation is very elegant. I've read that it is overpriced but I didn't think so. The only complaint is on the cappuccino: it was scalding hot and very bitter but that might also depend on the person who did it so I might give it another chance. Overall my first impression is good and I'll definitely go back.

As much as we would like to say we enjoyed this place, it was not worth the hype. The reservation aspect is obnoxious. We showed up & was told there would be a 30 min wait without a reservation (not terrible), but we didn’t have time to wait so we made a reservation for the next day. We got there about 20 mins earlier than our reservation & just wanted to grab a coffee from them while we wait. We were told we could order coffee, but it needed to be to-go. Also fine, but it felt like we couldn’t even be around until our reservation time. When we finally sat down (our server was great), it was so tightly crammed. The prices were insanely high & the food wasn’t worth the price. (French toast (doesn’t come with a side), potato side & egg side) Mediocre at best. We got a breakfast margarita that was also overpriced & SO small. We won’t be back for the food & wouldn’t recommend, unfortunately. But 5 starts for the hazelnut creme brûlée coffee!

I'm a fan of this place. It's one of many offerings from the DeShantz group. The only reason the food gets a 4 is the kitchen was closed when we visited. The staff is great here, drinks creative and worth the experience. Decor also gets high marks from me. Hope you get to experience it as they're experimenting with the hours a bit.

We loved every moment of being at this restaurant. We were pleasantly greeted at the door, and given a seat . There was a DJ playing music from 11 to 3 for brunch. The menu is very diverse. I ordered the boozy cookie crisp latte. This was so good ,and was topped off with actual cookie crisp cereal on top. Loved it. My boyfriend had a pumpkin spice latte and a bloody mary. Both were very good. The bloody Mary's are made in house. You can't go wrong .We also ordered the chicken and waffles ,which were so tasty. I had the two eggs, with bacon and potatoes. The potatoes are drenched with aoli sauce. Soooo good. Our server was Jessica D. She was so friendly and gave great suggestions. There is also a coffee bar here and a regular bar. They make a lot of specialty drinks,so we'll be back try more of everything. Highly recommend trying this place out. Almost forgot, they give you a cute post card when you leave.

Let me start off by saying the food was delicious. Best latte Ive ever had. The lavendar in it was fantastic. We tried the Quiche, cinnamon roll, Frankenberry Waffle (kids loved the edible glitter on this) the salmon toast and a few other things. The food is delicious but slightly over priced. The Cinnamon rolls (Although large) should NOT be $16. I definitely thought it would be bigger for that price. It was however delicious and my kids ate it up before we could get a photo. The Quiche was large, flavorful and the crust was perfect and flakey however the lettuce on the plate needed dressing or something. Basically seemed like they just put a handful of mixed greens to fill the plate so that you didn't feel bad paying so much for 1 piece of Quiche and so that you wouldnt have such an empty plate. It would have been better with maybe a few pieces of cucumber and tomato with the greens and some dressing. The main problem was the music. It was so loud we could not hear each other talking. I understand they want to keep the vibe they have but the music definitely needs to come down some so you don't have to scream over it, and yet still can't hear what the person across from you is saying without saying what or I can't hear you multiple times. Overall I'm glad we tried it. Food was delicious. I don't imagine we'd go back though as for us it just seemed slightly overpriced and It was hard to carry a conversation on with those across the table because of the loud music.

The atmosphere here is excellent. The staff is super friendly, the booths have gaming consoles to keep kids entertained, and it overall has a wonderfully happy feel to it. Unfortunately, I am very much not a of the food after having been three times, so I don’t believe it’s a fluke. Today, we had breakfast for four, and tried a variety of items. The potatoes with the Sally Ann’s breakfast were obliterated and soaked in oil. The giant cinnamon roll was stale and dry. The avocado toast was mediocre at best - the avocado felt processed and the toast again felt stale. It also was far more pickled than seasoned. The chicken with the chicken and waffles was just OK. Beyond that, the pricing just seems very expensive. I live downtown and am accustomed to the price of dining locally, but $16 for an oversized cinnamon roll? $17 for a slightly larger than average slice of toast with avocado mash (which did not taste fresh)? It makes me sad to say because breakfast establishments are always welcome, but we won’t be back. There’s an alternative downtown a few blocks away that has far superior quality food with similar breadth of menu that isn’t owned by a large restaurant group.

Sally Ann's has such a cool vibe! It's very retro yet modern. I love the bar area and the implemented ordering method. We ordered a latte, their burger, potatoes, and avocado toast. I absolutely loved their potatoes. My husband liked their burger as well. I hated their avocado toast as it was quite bland. The service is good but once you're seated and have received your food, no one really comes to ask how things are - I find that a bit strange for a restaurant.
